    Kumrat Valley Tourism

Kumrat is a valley in the Upper Dir District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the District of Pakistan. Kumrat Valley is located about 2 hours away (normally it’s 45 minutes however as a result of roadway conditions it’s 2 Hours) from the town of Thal. [citation required] It is just one of the beautiful valleys of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Every summer period hundreds of vacationers from various locations of the country check out Kumrat valley for its greenery as well as awesome weather condition.

Kumrat is covered with green fields, snow-clad hills, the river Panjkora, unclear mounds as well as woodlands are attractions of the region, which act as habitats for a variety of flora and animals It lies in the Upper Dir Kohistan area at the rear end of which Swat Kohistan area of Gabriel is located.
An attribute of Kumrat Valley is its towering Deodar forest trees found on the level ground surrounding the Panjkora river. Although the valley is relatively much less eco-friendly as contrasted to the Neelam Valley, on the whole, the “storybook” atmosphere formed by the Deodar woodlands has actually remained to attract vacationers for a number of years.

    Plants and fauna

Deodar woodland is fast depleting in Dir Kohistan Valley and it proceeds unrestricted as the citizens claim that they have no other source of heating and food preparation in the rough winter. The people of Kohistan Valley had actually provided the federal government a couple of years back [when?] that they were ready to stop cutting deodar trees if they were provided with a natural gas facility. Nevertheless, the government did not pay any type of heed to their need.
